I’m Dennis Hall, the founder of Yellowtail, and I want to tell you about our firm’s most valuable assets – the people who work here. It’s important that you know who we are and what we stand for. Why? Because the biggest investment you will make is not the money in your portfolio, your pension fund, or even your home; the biggest investment you will make is in the trusted relationships you have with your advisers.
Misplaced trust could cost you everything. Stories of people who are duped into parting with their savings, or who foolishly follow the wrong advice, are a regular feature of newspaper money pages. But it isn’t just money that is lost. Financial loss can also lead to a lack of confidence, in one’s self and in others.
The people I work with are a delight to be with. It’s an eclectic mix of people, skills and interests, and the one thing we have in common in the desire to help our clients achieve the life they want to live. And achieving a life worth living begins at home, which is why we invest in the development of the people who work here.
